Jahresarbeitszeit und Arbeitsvolumen

Abstract

Im Zusammenhang mit der Vorausschätzung der globalen Arbeitsmarktentwicklung für 1985 wurde auch die Entwicklung der Jahresarbeitszeit und des Arbeitsvolumens in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland untersucht. Es ergaben sich folgende Befunde: "Die Dauer und das Gefüge der Arbeitszeit sind vor allem durch die Tarifabschlüsse des vergangenen Jahres verstärkt in Bewegung gebracht worden. Hierbei zeichnen sich erhebliche Probleme der statistischen Erfassung dieser Veränderung ab. Zur Frage der Arbeitsmarktentlastung durch die Verkürzung der Wochenarbeitszeit werden plausible Annahmen getroffen, die aber - insbesondere im Hinblick auf die in den jüngsten Tarifverträgen auch enthaltene Flexibilisierung und Differenzierung - weiterer Überprüfung bedürfen."
