Strukturen und Entwicklung der Erwerbstätigkeit, Frauen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt

Abstract

Im Zusammenhang mit der Vorausschätzung der globalen Arbeitsmarktentwicklung für 1985 wurde im IAB auch die Entwicklung der Erwerbstätigkeit, speziell auch der Situation der Frauen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt untersucht. Es ergaben sich folgende Befunde: "Kurzfristige Verschiebungen in der Beschäftigungsstruktur werden von einem sehr ausgeprägten langfristigen Strukturwandel überlagert. So ist z. B. der Beschäftigungsabbau im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe seit Anfang der 70er Jahre prozentual ebenso groß und in absoluten Zahlen noch weitaus größer gewesen als im Baugewerbe. Frauen haben im Zusammenhang mit ihrer (auch in Zukunft zu erwartenden) größeren Erwerbsneigung seit langem eine überdurchschnittliche Arbeitslosenquote, konnten aber ihren Anteil an den Erwerbstätigen ausweiten. Bei den Arbeitnehmern haben sich Verschiebungen vor allem zu Lasten der Ausländer, nach der Stellung im Beruf zugunsten der Gruppe der Angestellten und Beamten ergeben." (IAB2)
