Die Verbreitung "programmgesteuerter Arbeitsmittel"

Abstract

"Im Jahre 1979 arbeitete jeder fünfte deutsche Erwerbstätige (bei Frauen jede vierte) mit 'programmgesteuerten' Geräten, Maschinen und technischen Anlagen. Sie stehen zur Zeit im Mittelpunkt der Diskussion um die Auswirkungen der techniischen Entwicklung auf die Arbeitsplätze. In diesem Beitrag werden die 'programmgesteuerten Arbeitsmittel' zu fünf Gruppen zusammengefaßt und im Hinblick auf die dabei auftretenden Arbeitsplatzstrukturen und Qualifikationen untersucht. 'Programmgesteuerte Arbeitsmittel' werden meist in Kombination mit anderem Gerät (oder miteinander) verwendet. Lediglich an 1,3 Millionen Arbeitsplätzen sind sie das 'überwiegend verwendete Arbeitsmittel'. Ihre Anwendung geht mit differenzierten Arbeitsplatz- und Qualifikationsstrukturen einher. Die Annahme, der Einsatz 'programmgesteuerter Arbeitsmittel' führe durchweg zu einseitigen Tätigkeiten, die zumeist unteren Qualifikationsebenen angehören, wird durch die Untersuchung nicht bestätigt."
