Zur Entwicklung der Laufzeiten von offenen Stellen in den letzten Jahren

Abstract

"Die zeitliche Entwicklung der Laufzeiten von offenen Stellen wird regional, nach Wirtschaftszweigen, Berufen und weiteren Merkmalen dargestellt und erläutert. Dabei zeigt sich generell eine starke konjunkturelle Abhängigkeit der Laufzeiten. Daneben haben sich aber die Laufzeiten gerade in den letzten Jahren über das aus konjunkturellen Gründen erklärbare Ausmaß hinaus erhöht. Verschiedenen friktionellen und strukturellen Erklärungsmöglichkkeiten wird nachgegangen, ohne daß eine eindeutige Antwort gefunden werden kann. Die gesamtwirtschaftliche Bedeutung der Erhöhung der Laufzeiten darf nicht überschätzt werden. Das anhaltende globale Ungleichgewicht zwischen Arbeitsplätzen und Arbeitskräften ist über schnellere Auswahl- und Suchprozesse nicht wesentlich zu verringern. Dennoch sollte im Interesse der Stellenanbieter und Arbeitssuchenden sowie der Solidargemeinschaft der Versicherten alles technisch mögliche unternommen werden, um die Transparenz des Stellenmarktes zu erhöhen und friktionelle Hemmnisse bei der Besetzung von Stellen weitestgehend abzubauen."
