Abstract

"Die Beschäftigtenstatistik gewinnt seit einigen Jahren zunehmend einen festen Platz unter den Erwerbsstatistiken. Als Sekundärstatistik auf der Basis des Meldeverfahrens zur Sozialversicherung und zur Bundesanstalt für Arbeit liegen die Stärken der Beschäftigtenstatistik in der vierteljährlichen Periodizität der Auswertung und in der Möglichkeit einer weitgehenden Disaggregation. ... Für die Benutzer der Beschäftigtenstatistik stellt sich die Frage nach der Plausibilität der Ergebnisse und der Vergleichbarkeit mit anderen Erwerbsstatistiken. ... Die Auswertungen der Beschäftigtenstatistik beschränken sich bisher auf die Ermittlung von Bestandsstrukturen. Damit wird derzeit lediglich ein Teil des Informationsgehaltes genutzt, den das Datenpotential des Meldeverfahrens bietet. Die methodischen Vorarbeiten für die verschiedenen Arten von Zeitraumauswertungen, wie z.B. von Bewegungsvorgängen, Jahresauswertungen über Arbeitsentgelte und Beschäftigungszeiten sowie von Berufsverläufen können jedoch inzwischen als im wesentlichen abgeschlossen angesehen werden."
