Berufswege von Erwerbstätigen mit Facharbeiterausbildung

Abstract

"In der Bundesrepublik Deutschland gibt es derzeit 8,36 Mio. deutsche Erwerbstätige mit Facharbeiterausbildung. Davon sind jedoch nur 3,80 Mio., das sind 45%, als Facharbeiter beschäftigt. Die übrigen verteilen sich auf folgende Gruppen (jeweils in % aller ausgebildeten Facharbeiter): 1,34 Mio. (16%) haben nach der Facharbeiterausbildung eine zusätzliche Berufsausbildung absolviert und sind nicht mehr als Facharbeiter tätig. Ohne zusätzliche Berufsausbildung sind in andere Gruppen übergegangen: 1,35 Mio. (16%) in die Gruppe der Angestellten, 0,87 Mio. (11%) in die Gruppe der Hilfs- und angelernten Arbeiter, 0,54 Mio. (7%) in die Gruppe der Selbständigen (einschl. Mithelfender), 0,36 Mio. (4%) in die Gruppe der Beamten. Diese einzelnen Gruppen werden näher analysiert und dabei vor allem folgende Fragen angesprochen: Wie setzen sich diese Gruppen nach sozio-demographischen und beruflichen Merkmalen zusammen? In welcher Lebensphase erfolgt überwiegend der Abgang aus der Facharbeiterschaft? Wieviel von der Facharbeiterausbildung kann in der jetzigen Tätigkeit noch verwertet werden?"
