Zur Entwicklung des Arbeitsmarktes in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland im Jahre 1973

Abstract

"Die Arbeitsmarktentwicklung im Jahre 1973 ist gekennzeichnet durch die widersprüchliche Entwicklung einiger Indikatoren. Bei kräftigem Wirtschaftswachstum (reales Bruttosozialprodukt + 6 Prozent) und leicht zunehmendem Beschäftigungsgrad (Erwerbstätige + 40 000 Personen oder + 0,2 Prozent im Jahresdurchschnitt) war das inländische Erwerbspersonenpotential weiterhin rückläufig (-170 000 Personen bzw. -0,7 Prozent); dabei ist unterstellt, daß etwa 80 000 Männer von der Möglichkeit der flexiblen Altersgrenze Gebrauch machen werden und vorzeitig aus dem Erwerbsleben ausscheiden. Die Zahl der ausländischen Arbeitnehmer dürfte im Jahresdurchschnitt auf 2,5 Mio. Personen anwachsen (+220 000 Personen oder +9,5 Prozent gegenüber 1972). Andere Indikatoren weisen auf einen konjunkturellen Umschwung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt hin: So ist die saisonbereinigte Zahl offener Stellen bis zur Jahresmitte 1973 nahezu konstant geblieben, geht seitdem aber deutlich zurück. Die Beschäftigung in der Bauwirtschaft ist sogar schon seit Jahresbeginn rückläufig. Die registrierte Arbeitslosigkeit wird um 20 000 Personen oder 7,7 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahr ansteigen."
