Arbeitsmarktbeobachtung und Beschäftigungsprojektion in Japan

Abstract

"Wie in vielen westeuropäischen Staaten nahm auch in Japan die Arbeitsmarktforschung erst im Verlauf der sechziger Jahre einen bemerkenswerten Aufschwung. Als wichtigste Forschungsträger erweisen sich höchste Regierungsstellen, vor allem die statistischen Abteilungen im Amt des Ministerpräsidenten und im Arbeitsministerium. Im Rahmen der Arbeitsmarktforschung führen diese Stellen Erhebungen über Erwerbspersonen und Stellung im Erwerbsleben durch und veröffentlichen periodische Arbeitsmarktstatistiken. Mittel- und langfristige Beschäftigungsprojektionen gibt es im wesentlichen erst für die siebziger Jahre bis 1980/85. Daneben werden auch von nichtamtlichen Stellen einschlägige Forschungen unternommen. Sie spielen jedoch bisher nur eine untergeordnete Rolle."
