Abstract

"'Auf dem Gebiet der Arbeitsmarktforschung wird derzeit von der Forschung bereits sehr viel an 'gesicherten' Aussagen verlangt, während die methodischen Grundlagen noch weitgehend ungeklärt sind. Auftraggeber, Politik, Wirtschaft und interessierte Öffentlichkeit sollten sich der Aufgabe stellen, sich ihrerseits ausreichend mit dem Stand der wissenschaftlichen Debatte vertraut zu machen, um sachkundig entscheiden zu können, unterhalb welchen methodischen Mindestniveaus Forschungsaufgaben heute nicht mehr bearbeitet werden sollten. Diese Schrift möchte ein Beitrag sein zu dieser Überlegung, aber auch eine Anregung für weiterführende Erörterungen, wie sie auch in dem hier publizierenden Arbeitskreis selbst stattfinden werden."
