TOURISMUS IN UNTER SCHUTZ STEHENDEN GEGENDEN UND ÖKOTOURISMUS ZUM SCHUTZ DER Caretta caretta UND DEN ÖKOSYSTEMEN AM BEISPIEL KRETAS

Abstract

Griechenland befindet sich im südöstlichen Teil von Europa und bildet in einer der größten Halbinseln von Südeuropa (die restlichen zwei sind westlich die Iberische und im Zentrum die Italienische Halbinsel) einen Teil der balkanischen Halbinsel. Griechenland hat eine Fläche von 131.957 Quadratkilometern. Davon entfallen 1/5 (25.042 Quadratkilometer) auf die Inseln und der Rest Quadratkilometer auf das kontinentale Landgebiet. Auf der Fläche von Europa (über 10.000.000 Quadratkilometer) besitzt Griechenland 1/77 und ist das 13. Land in Größe, während es auf internationaler Ebene dem 1/1000 der Gesamtfläche der Kontinente entspricht. Kreta, mit einer Fläche von 8.330 Quadratkilometern, ist die größte Insel Griechenlands und die fünftgrößte Insel des Mittelmeers (nach Sizilien, Sardinien, Zypern und Korsika). Ihre geologische Geschichte, ihre langjährige geographische Isolation, und ihre geographische Lage sind die Hauptgründe für eine Reihe von Eigenartigkeiten, welche ihre natürliche Umgebung bezeichnen. Mit der vorliegenden Arbeit untersuchen wir, ob der Tourismus auf Kreta zum Schutz der Gegenden mit besonderem natürlichen Wert beitragen kann (Tourismus, Ecotourismus und Naturschutzgebiete).Ebenso untersuchen wir Ökosysteme und insbesondere die Caretta caretta.
