Abstract

Έναυσμα για τη συγγραφή του παρόντος άρθρου αποτελεί η διερεύνηση του ελληνικού εκπαιδευτικού συστήματος της πρωτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης. Επιχειρείται μια περιληπτική επισκόπηση των εννοιών που διδάσκονται στους μαθητές του δημοτικού σχολείου των οικονομικών, κοινωνικών και φυσικών επιστημών. Εξετάζονται διεξοδικά τα μαθήματα: “Μελέτη Περιβάλλοντος”, “Γεωγραφία”, “Κοινωνική και Πολιτική Αγωγή”. Επίσης θίγονται ορισμένες επιμέρους προβληματικές σε όσους ασχολούνται με τα προγράμματα διδασκαλίας και την οργάνωση της βασικής εκπαίδευσης.(Κασσωτάκης Μ., Βάμβουκας Μ, 1985). Στη συνέχεια σκιαγραφείται η αναγκαιότητα διεύρυνσης των γνώσεων και της μάθησης, αξιοποιώντας τα «σενάρια» που εκπονήσαμε και αναφέρουμε στην εργασία μας, ώστε η μάθηση στην εκπαιδευτική αυτή βαθμίδα να γίνει με τρόπο πιο εύληπτο και αποτελεσματικότερο.
