Abstract

Copenhagen Concensus 2008 er en stort anlagt Cost-Benefit rangordning af mulige løsninger på en række af de store udfordringer, som verden står overfor – klimaproblemer, terror, underernæring med mere. Rangordningen er interessant, fordi den er baseret på et solidt velfærdsøkonomisk grundlag udarbejdet af førende eksperter inden for de enkelte områder, og fordi den afspejler de vurderinger og præferencer, som otte af verdens ledende økonomer (herunder fem nobelpristagere) har kunnet blive enige om bør ligge til grund for den endelige prioritering af indsatsen over for problemerne. Men hvor relevant er den?
