Abstract

Российское военное ведомство в 2015 г. сделало существенный шаг вперед в своей статистике, опубликовав в начале года первый после 1914 г. ежегодный статистический сборник. Однако еще на этапе подготовки сборника, который призван существенно расширить ведомственную статистику, представленную до этого лишь данными о численности пенсионеров Минобороны, составители натолкнулись на традиционное отечественное препятствие – барьер секретности, что существенно обесценило усилия по его публикации.
