Solvabilitatea companiilor de asigurări: teste și previziuni

Abstract

Directiva Solvency II reprezintă primul proiect strategic care va ajuta la determinarea solvabilității pentru toate companiile de asigurări și entitatile din spatiul european iar implementarea acestei directive va avea o influență majora asupra abordarii riscului, mixului de business, tarifelor și mai ales aspura tuturor proceselor operaționale ale industriei asigurărilor. De asemenea, Solvency II, va duce la o noua abordare a procesului de supraveghere care se va baza pe principii economice pentru măsurarea activelor și a pasivelor și va lua în considerare majoritatea riscurilor la care se expune compania, utilizând principii comune pe baza cărora se va stabili nivelul capitalului. In cadrul acestui articol incercăm să analizăm modul prin care Solvency II îmbină obiectivele pentru o industrie sănătoasă a asigurarilor și cum acest lucru aduce beneficii acestui domeniu prin crearea unui cadrul legal ce reflectă principii economice.
