Financial Research Institute: Its Role in the Financial History of Russia and Current Objectives

Abstract

This article is dedicated to the history of establishing and developing of the Financial Research Institute (FRI, Moscow) as the leading research institution of the Russian financial system. It points out objectives of the Institute under the current conditions, which involve its transformation into the advanced center of research on finance and budget policy.
