Uma nota sobre o risco de contágio, perfil dos trabalhadores e a pandemia de COVID-19 no Brasil

Abstract

Este artigo investiga o perfil dos trabalhadores por risco de contágio nas atividades econômicas e suas interfaces com a contaminação por COVID-19. Utilizando a PNAD COVID19 e outras fontes, empregou-se análises descritivas, taxas de ocorrência e razões de sexo. Verificou-se 5,7 milhões de trabalhadores em ocupações com alto risco de contágio, com predomínio de mulheres, brancos e pessoas entre 20 e 50 anos. Quanto maior o risco, maior foi a proporção daqueles com sintomas de síndrome gripal, sendo mais predominante entre mulheres e negros. Perfil similar ao dos contaminados por COVID-19: mulheres, entre 30 e 60 anos e negros.
