Índice de Motivação Multidimensional e Desempenho Escolar no Brasil

Abstract

Este trabalho pretende criar um Índice de Motivação Multidimensional (IMM) a partir dos dados do PISA 2015, verificar o efeito deste sobre o desempenho escolar e identificar qual das dimensões possui maior impacto na redução do diferencial de notas entre os alunos com melhores e piores condições socioeconômicas. A partir das metodologias de Fuzzy sets, Balanceamento por Entropia e a decomposição de Oaxaca-Blinder, observou-se que, tanto o IMM como os índices motivacionais dos alunos e professores foram positivos e significativos em relação à proficiência. Ademais, a diferença nas notas entre os grupos reduziu ao ponderar pelo IMM ou pelas dimensões.
