Porovnání pøežívajících a zanikajících podnikù v èeské ekonomice na konci 90. let

Abstract

Autoøi se ve svém èlánku pokoušejí odpovìdìt na otázku, zda proces eliminace neperspektivních firem napomohl oživení èeské ekonomiky na konci 90. let. Pro rok 1999 prokázali vysokou míru podobnosti provozních výsledkù (produktivita práce, pøidaná hodnota na zamìstnance, mzda) pro pøežívající a konèící podniky. Autoøi se domnívají, že tato skuteènost byla dùsledkem toho, že eliminaèní proces spíše než na provozních výsledcích závisel na privatizaèní historii firem a na jejich finanèních nákladech. V èlánku rovnìž analyzovali pøežívající podniky, co se týèe odvìtvové, teritoriální a institucionální struktury. Pøekvapivì nejvíce ?hájeným? oborem bylo zemìdìlství a výroba elektrické energie, nejvìtší míra eliminace pak byla v Praze, tedy v regionu s nejvyšším HDP na hlavu.
