Eredit? dei grandi eventi: un confronto tra Barcellona, Genova e Torino

Abstract

L?articolo presenta una lettura dei processi di trasformazione e di costruzione di "capitale territoriale" nelle citt? coinvolte da un grande evento. L?obiettivo ? quello di sperimentare una metodologia di analisi utile a sviluppare riflessioni ed interpretazioni circa il ruolo dei grandi eventi come strumenti di sviluppo urbano. Distinguendo fra tre differenti accezioni di capitale (fisso, reticolare e relazionale), viene proposto uno specifico impianto metodologico che prevede la valutazione (attraverso interviste, letteratura scientifica, documenti di piano e dati empirici) di ciascuna componente. Tale metodologia ? applicata per un confronto, attraverso la costruzione di diagrammi polari, tra i casi di Barcellona, Genova e Torino, citt? protagoniste negli ultimi anni di importanti trasformazioni connesse all?organizzazione di eventi di grande portata (Olimpiadi, Capitale Europea della Cultura, ecc.).
