Un?analisi statistica sulle tendenze del turismo internazionale negli stati dell?Unione Europea

Abstract

Il lavoro propone una selezione organica di dati statistici relativi agli spostamenti internazionali di viaggiatori da e verso stati aderenti all?Unione Europea, derivata dalla fonte EUROSTAT. Con riferimento al periodo 1995-2010 e ad aspetti quali la propensione turistica, il grado d?internazionalizzazione, la pressione turistica, l?utilizzo della capacit? produttiva e la stagionalit?, sono stati quantificati livelli e variazioni di indicatori propri della statistica del turismo. La principale conclusione dell?analisi, condotta in chiave comparativa sulla base di raggruppamenti tipologico-geografici degli stati UE, ? che ? in atto un processo di convergenza verso standard comuni, ostacolato per? dall?estrema eterogeneit? dei profili turistici dei singoli stati.
