Il turismo del benessere

Abstract

Secondo il rapporto 2018 del GWI Global Wellness Institute, il turismo del benes-sere ? entrato nella filosofia del turista solo da pochi anni ma ha registrato una cre-scita notevole, raggiungendo una spesa pari a 639 miliardi di dollari. In Europa si calcolano 292 milioni di viaggi per turismo del benessere, con (inbound e naziona-li) con una spesa di 211 miliardi di dollari; in Asia se ne calcolano 258 milioni, con una spesa di 138 miliardi di dollari, mentre nel Nord America si contano 204 mi-lioni di viaggi, con una spesa di 242 miliardi di dollari. In questo capitolo sono presentati i trend del turismo del benessere a livello mon-diale, con un focus sull?Italia.
