Il turismo MICE in prospettiva

Abstract

Il turismo MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Congress, Events) costituisce un elemento importantissimo nello sviluppo del piano di marketing di una qualsiasi destinazione e, data la crescente rilevanza, sta diventando una leva essenziale affinch? essa si sviluppi a livello competitivo. Il viaggio business dispone di un budget che di soli-to supera di quasi due o tre volte quello dei turisti autonomi. In tale categoria di viaggio si riscontra una tendenza crescente ad includere mo-menti di svago, pertanto si sta sviluppando una tipologia di turismo che viene de-nominata Bleisure e che include Business and Leisure. Questa tendenza rappresenta una significativa opportunit? per le strutture ricettive perch? i viaggiatori di tipo bleisure dispongono di una capacit? di spesa pi? elevata per i prodotti extra. Per gli operatori turistici diventa, dunque, essenziale proporre convenzioni, promozioni, transfer, pacchetti e offerte, al fine di intercettare questa nuova categoria di potenziali clienti.
