Abstract

L?emergenza Covid-19 ha fornito un impulso alla sperimentazione di nuove modalità di erogazione delle prestazioni sanitarie, favorendo l?affiancamento degli strumenti di digital health e di telemedicina alle tradizionali prestazioni di specialistica ambulatoriale. In particolare, la telemedicina specialistica riguarda tutte le modalità con cui si forniscono visite mediche e controlli a distanza in merito a una specifica disciplina medica. In tale ambito si inserisce il progetto sviluppato dall?Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Mater Domini di Catanzaro, che propone un modello di presa in carico e monitoraggio dei pazienti con multicronicità. L?obiettivo del progetto è quello di aiutare i pazienti a ricevere assistenza sanitaria di qualità a "casa propria", anche in situazioni critiche come quelle vissute nella pandemia da SARS-CoV-2.
