Nuove regole sulla convivenza allo studio in Europa: un cambiamento di approccio nella disciplina degli Ogm

Abstract

La Monsanto ha deciso di abbandonare le coltivazioni di Ogm in Europa all?indomani della scelta europea di modificare le regole sulla coesistenza per rimetterne la gestione agli Stati membri, offrendo ai singoli legislatori nazionali margini di condizionamento sull?ulteriore futuro delle biotecnologie in Europa, che oltre ad una disciplina di filiera sovranazionale fatta di restrizioni e gestioni vincolate, si avvia ora ad abbandonare l?unicit? di una prospettiva "federale" per tornare ad un?attivit? agricola condizionabile localmente dalle scelte, non solo di politica economica, ma anche di politica sociale, dei singoli Stati membri. Dopo una presentazione della disciplina comunitaria di filiera, l?articolo analizza le regole sulla coesistenza attualmente in vigore in Europa per poi dedicarsi all'esame delle nuove regole in corso di emanazione
