La nuova disciplina comunitaria sull?etichettatura degli alimenti e l?indicazione dell?origine

Abstract

L?Autrice, dopo una breve ricognizione delle principali tappe evolutive relative allo sviluppo della normativa comunitaria in materia di etichettatura dei prodotti alimentari, analizza alcune delle principali novit? del reg. (UE) n. 1169/2011, relativo alla fornitura di informazioni sugli alimenti ai consumatori, con particolare riguardo alle nuove regole circa l?indicazione dell?origine degli alimenti, verificandone, inoltre, la compatibilit? con la normativa italiana in materia. L?Autrice si sofferma, poi, sul rapporto tra origine, qualit? e tutela del consumatore alla luce di alcune pronunce della Corte di Giustizia ed in riferimento ad alimenti per i quali sono previste regole specifiche in materia di etichettatura. Infine l?Autrice, a fronte del progressivo sviluppo di marchi di qualit? regionali, si sofferma sull?utilizzo degli stessi quale strumento per l?indicazione d?origine volontaria di alcuni prodotti alimentari a forte vocazione locale.
