Abstract

1929-1939 yılları, genel olarak, devletçilik politikasının yeni Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin temel politikalarından biri olarak kabul edildiği ve aynı zamanda şiddetli biçimde tartışıldığı yıllar olarak nitelenebilir. Makaledeki ana soru, devletçilik politikasının, 1924 Anayasası'na girdiği yıl olmasına karşın 1937 yılının, söz konusu politikadan vazgeçilmesinde bir dönüm noktasını oluşturup oluşturmadığıdır. Bu çerçevede, özellikle, devletçilik politikasının, 1930' lardaki genel durumunun yanı sıra 1937 yılında Vakit ve Akşam gazeteleri örneğinde basına yansıyan belli başlı siyasal, ekonomik ve toplumsal gelişmeler içindeki konumu incelenecektir.

    Note: [English Title] 1937 - [ls lt] The Last Moment of Etatism[?]: The Reflections of the Policy of Etatism in the Media, Vakit and Akşam Newspapers [English Abstract] In general, the years between 1929-1939 could be labelled as the terms in which the etatist policy was accepted and also strongly deliberated as one of the main policies of new Turkish Republic. The main question in the article could be whether the year 1937 was the turning point to leave the etatist policies althoug it was contained by 1924 Constitution of Turkey. In this respect, more precisely, the position of the etatist policy will be analyzed in the 1930s in general as well as in the main political, economic and social events reflected by two main newspapers in Turkey, Vakit and Akşam in the year 1937.
