La articulación productiva en América del Norte. Un análisis de redes

Abstract

El modelo insumo-producto (IP) estudia la interdependencia entre las ramas, considerando que cada una influye sobre la dinámica del sistema por medio de las relaciones de intercambio con el resto, que se explican por la tecnología que cada una utiliza para producir y que inducen la compra de determinados insumos en proporciones dadas. Este trabajo evalúa la capacidad de articulación de las ramas de alta tecnología (RAT) y las intensivas en conocimiento en una red interindustrial construida desde una tabla trinacional para América del Norte. Esta red económica se construye a partir del concepto de multiplicador neto y de las ramas identificadas como claves en el modelo ip, por lo que refleja los impulsos al crecimiento. El trabajo propone tres medidas de articulación desagregadas por r egiones para el sistema norteamericano.
