Crisis epidemiológica y recesión global: Fractura de la financiarización y el gran nivelador

Abstract

La recesión causada por la pandemia es la culminación de un periodo de inestabilidad iniciado con la crisis de 2001-02, agravado con la de 2007-08. Los problemas de fondo siguen sin solución, persis-tiendo el exceso de capital y endeudamiento. La covid-19 aceleró el cambio histórico, abriendo la posibilidad de una gran nivelación, es decir, la redistribución del ingreso y riqueza mediante la inter-vención del Estado, a fin de cubrir las pérdidas sociales. El dislocamiento producido por la crisis viral, la parálisis y el rescate económico pueden recrear ese efecto, aunque lo decisivo se encuentra en el grado de vulnerabilidad preexistente en el núcleo de acumulación de capital.
