Abstract

Se evalúa el desarrollo de una empresa de servicios turísticos especializada en guianza para la mejora de la oferta turística en Guayaquil, Ecuador. A través del diagnóstico, se pudo constatar la necesidad de emprendimientos como este, dado que suponen innovación y creatividad en el campo del turismo. Para brindar validez y confianza en los resultados obtenidos, se aplicaron diversos métodos, tales como: encuestas, el método de expertos y el método estadístico de Kendall. Se logró establecer cuáles son los factores de competitividad que intervienen para el éxito de este tipo de empresa, encontrándose como principales, los siguientes: servicio de guianza personalizado y de calidad, ser una empresa con una buena capacidad de planificación y organización, respeto y responsabilidad, programas de capacitación y actualización de conocimientos, entre otros. Por lo cual se puede afirmar que este estudio promueve un gran aporte en el ámbito turístico dejando bases para futuros estudios.
