O Turismo Arqueolã“Gico No Estado De Roraima - Brasil: Perspectivas E Possibilidades

Abstract

O estado de Roraima possui um rico patrimônio arqueológico que é desconhecido em sua maioria, apesar de possuir mais de oitenta sítios arqueológicos registrados. Porém, os sítios mais conhecidos do público têm problemas como a falta de gestão eficiente e destruição. Este artigo tem como objetivos analisar o processo de gestão do patrimônio arqueológico, e apresentar propostas para o desenvolvimento do turismo arqueológico no estado de Roraima. A metodologia consistiu de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, com a finalidade de se fazer um levantamento histórico da área pesquisada e para a construção de referencial teórico. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada nos meses de fevereiro e março de 2013, com atualização de dos em 2015 e inicio de 2016, por meio de observação direta e coleta de material fotográfico, além de entrevistas realizadas com pessoas ligadas diretamente a gestão do patrimônio arqueológico no estado de Roraima.
