Trajetã“Ria Das Polã Ticas Pãšblicas De Turismo No Brasil

Abstract

As políticas públicas correspondem a um conjunto de ações do Estado, concebidas, regulamentadas e executadas por instituições do setor público, nos níveis federal, estadual e municipal. Elas são destinadas ao atendimento das necessidades da sociedade. Através das políticas públicas, o poder público define normas e ações nos mais variados setores, sob a responsabilidade estatal. Entre esses setores, está o turismo, que se constitui em uma atividade socioeconômica vinculada ao deslocamento de pessoas para viagens com finalidades diversas. O turismo envolve a produção e comercialização de bens e serviços para a sociedade, tendo em um dos polos os lugares e empreendimentos que recebem os turistas (oferta) e, em outro, quem visita, ou seja, os próprios turistas (demanda). Neste artigo, é discutida a trajetória das políticas públicas federais de turismo no Brasil, considerando a organização institucional existente, bem como as diretrizes, planos e programas de apoio ao desenvolvimento do turismo.
