El Control De Irregularidades Y Tripadvisor

Abstract

TripAdvisor es la web de viajes más grande del mundo, pero su reputación y credibilidad se ve afectada por la existencia de contenido manipulado aportado por usuarios malintencionados. Describimos la existencia de un mercado irregular de compra-venta de opiniones sobre establecimientos hosteleros. Constatamos la falta de capacidad o de voluntad de TripAdvisor, para implementar procedimientos que impliquen un mayor control, al publicar opiniones de usuarios sin ser revisadas por humanos previamente. Detectamos también dos entidades, que recomiendan públicamente a los hoteles, técnicas que implican infringir las normas de TripAdvisor, para mejorar su valoración. Se sugieren mejoras del sistema, que eviten incidencias como las descritas, lo que influiría positivamente en la percepción de la marca por parte de viajeros y hoteleros.
