Justificativa Do Prazer E Da Emoã‡Ãƒo Na Hotelaria Atual Segundo Maslow

Abstract

Este texto tem por objetivo desenvolver um breve histórico de como ocorreram os meios de hospedagem e responder a algumas indagações de como e porque as pessoas procuram se hospedar em lugares muitas vezes incomuns. Usando a Teoria da Necessidade de Maslow, que explica porque as pessoas são motivadas a buscar determinados momentos por necessidades específicas, pode-se entender tal questionamento; aliado ainda a uma possível crítica ao trabalho de Maslow. Como resultado, verifica-se a emoção como possível categoria de análise que caracteriza a arquitetura hoteleira contemporânea, enfatizando a relação entre prazer e necessidade (nos termos de Maslow).
