Abstract

El turismo en la actualidad representa uno de los sectores más importantes, sin duda en el inicio del siglo XXI es la actividad más importante del mundo. Es así que el turismo ha tenido una expansión y crecimiento en los últimos 20 años. En el caso de México, esta actividad representa una fuente de ingreso real y potencial, ya que es el país que cuenta con más sitios arqueológicos, folklore, arte colonial, diversas riquezas naturales y variados climas que le permite contar con diversidad de paisajes, como selva tropical, altiplanos, volcanes nevados, barrancos y lagos. En este trabajo de investigación se realiza el análisis de un proyecto de Ecoturismo, parte del turismo alternativo, como herramienta de planificación y gestión que impacte en el desarrollo socioeconómico actual de las comunidades rurales en el Parque El Chico, Estado de Hidalgo.
