La Competencia De Empleabilidad De Los Futuros Profesionales Del Turismo

Abstract

La empleabilidad constituye una competencia muy útil en el contexto laboral. Se trata de una competencia esencial, máxime en épocas de crisis como la actual. Y aunque el propio sujeto es el primer responsable de su propia empleabilidad, qué duda cabe de que la familia, el sistema educativo y las empresas, entre otras instituciones y agentes, también son responsables del desarrollo de la competencia para la carrera profesional. El presente trabajo constituye una investigación sobre la percepción que los estudiantes universitarios del grado en turismo tienen acerca de su propia empleabilidad. Los resultados muestran que aunque los estudiantes no conciban la empleabilidad como una competencia, son conscientes de que todas las competencias presentadas en la investigación son relevantes para su propia empleabilidad en el sector turístico.
