Iniciativas Turísticas Y Desarrollo Local. Análisis De Cuatro Casos Destacados En España

Abstract

La cada vez mayor aceptación de los planteamientos teóricos del enfoque del desarrollo endógeno se ha traducido en una proliferación, en los últimos tiempos, de actuaciones conducentes a poner en valor los recursos más importantes con los que cuenta un determinado territorio. En particular, existe un amplio consenso acerca del importante papel que pueden jugar los recursos turísticos como motor del desarrollo endógeno de muchas regiones y localidades. Esto es especialmente relevante en un país tan dotado de dichos recursos como es España. En este trabajo vamos a revisar cuatro iniciativas turísticas -Camino de Santiago en Galicia, Parque Nacional Picos de Europa en Asturias, Cantabria y León, Cultura y turismo en Sevilla y Campaña del litoral en la Comunidad Valenciana- que pueden contribuir a la dinamización socioeconómica y, por tanto, al desarrollo de los territorios implicados.
