Abstract

Desde que surgió Internet, hace menos de tres décadas, las empresas turísticas lo adoptaron rápidamente, debido a las ventajas potenciales que el nuevo sistema tenía, especialmente como medio de comunicación (Luque y Castañeda, 2007). Es sin duda el área de marketing dentro de las organizaciones turísticas la que más se ha adaptado a los nuevos sistemas (López, López y Sanz, 2009), pudiendo afirmarse que la aparición de la red es tan reciente y su uso comercial tan rápido y generalizado que todo se ha ido desarrollando “sobre la marcha”.
