Abstract

Las organizaciones turísticas pueden clasificarse en tres grandes categorías: las empresas turísticas propiamente dichas, las asociaciones empresariales que engloban a las anteriores y las instituciones turísticas de carácter público. Respecto a las primeras, las empresas turísticas, constituyen las unidades básicas de la actividad turística privada y la legislación española (Ley 7/1995, de 6 de abril, de ordenación del turismo en Canarias) las subdivide en tres grandes grupos: empresas de alojamiento, intermediarias y complementarias.
