Comportamento Turístico Do Participante De Eventos: O Caso Das Competições De Handebol Em Cidades Turísticas Mineiras

Abstract

A realização de eventos esportivos é um fato comum na nossa sociedade. Eles ocorrem com o objetivo de competição e lazer, e ao mesmo tempo geram um fluxo turístico no local do evento. Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a realização destes eventos esportivos em cidades históricas do estado de Minas Gerais e a participação dos atletas como turistas durante a realização da competição. Foram pesquisados quatro eventos da modalidade de Handebol realizados em três cidades turísticas diferentes, avaliado o impacto da realização do evento sobre os atletas e as cidades, bem como a comunidade e o seu envolvimento com o evento.
