Abstract

El turismo es un actor principal en el crecimiento de las economías a nivel mundial, por ello es importante destinar esfuerzos para promover el crecimiento de esta industria. El Ecuador es un país rico en turismo, cuenta con sitios naturales y arquitectónicos, gran patrimonio intangible en todas sus regiones (fiestas populares, religiosas, bailes, folklore), etc. Aún no se valora al 100% lo que hay dentro del país, por esta razón es importante promover la creación de portales web que incentiven realizar turismo en Ecuador. VisitaEcuador.com es un portal amigable, que invita a la población ecuatoriana y mundial a disfrutar del país, otorgándole a sus socios/as descuentos especiales en hoteles, restaurantes, etc. Este club virtual es un modelo a seguir, que utiliza tecnología de punta en su portal, desarrollando un marketing turístico 2.0. Promueve el uso de redes sociales a sus socios/as para que aporten experiencias personales en la web.
