La Visión Convencional Del Turismo Según Sus Primeros Codificadores (Los Gründrisse De Hunziker Y Krapf, 1942)

Abstract

La corriente principal, y de momento única, en la moderna conceptualización del turismo hunde sus más profundas raíces en el habla cotidiana relativa a los viajes de ingleses y franceses de finales del XVIII y principios del XIX, la cual se difundió con cierta celeridad entre los hablantes cultos y de cierto nivel de renta de los países europeos y americanos. Digo moderna porque fueron estos hablantes los primeros que emplearon palabras como tur, turista, turismo o turístico, pero en realidad las raíces son mucho más profundas habida cuenta de que los viajes redondos o de ida y vuelta se vienen haciendo desde el nacimiento y posterior desarrollo de las ciudades, como ya he demostrado en mi Autopsia del turismo (www.eumed.net)
