Destinos Culturales Y Lealtad De Los Turistas Colectivistas ¿Cuestión De Costas?

Abstract

El estudio del proceso de generación de satisfacción y lealtad de los turistas hacia los destinos resulta constante en la literatura de marketing. Al tratarse de un producto simbólico (Sirayaka y Woodside, 2005), en el modelo explicativo de tal modelo es necesario contemplar de forma simultánea los componentes afectivos y cognitivos. Si bien se ha planteado la forma en que se comporta tal modelo (Rodríguez y San Martín, 2008), surgen dudas acerca de la posible generalización de los resultados que, para un destino concreto, se hayan establecido. Así, recientemente diversos trabajos plantean la posibilidad de que sea el tipo de destino o ciertas características del turista las variables que moderen el funcionamiento de tales modelos (Bargeman y Van Del Poel, 2006; Gursoy y Mccleary, 2004; Li, Cheng, Kim y Petrick, 2008; Medina, Rey y Rufín, 2009; Rey, Medina y Rufín, 2009; Woodside y Dubelaar, 2002).
