Abstract

Las diferentes lenguas en el mundo han influido notablemente en los pueblos que las hablan, no sólo en su forma de pensar la realidad sino además en su manera de vincularse con otros pueblos. El turismo hoy día, se he configurado como una industria masiva donde el uso de un lenguaje único que permita la comunicación entre personas con diferente origen se hace fundamental. En este sentido, el inglés parece haberse consolidado como un idioma universal para miles de viajeros. El siguiente ensayo versa sobre los diferentes procesos que sigue una lengua en su etapa de formación, de expansión, dominación y desaparición o mutación.
