El Imaginario Del Desarrollo Sustentado En El Turismo Comunitario. Caso: Techos De México En Chacala Nayarit, México

Abstract

La comunidad de Chacala esta localizada en una hermosa bahía que ostenta el mismo nombre, y se encuentra en sur del estado de Nayarit en lo que ahora se conoce como el corredor turístico Nuevo Vallarta, San Blas (Plan de Desarrollo Municipal, 2005-2008). Tiene una población aproximada de 300 habitantes los cuales se dedican principalmente a la pesca y a los servicios turísticos. Su privilegiada playa tiene una extensión de 500 metros de largo; el oleaje es moderado y la arena dorada y fina con pendiente suave, rodeada por montañas cubiertas de exuberante vegetación tropical lo que la convierte verdaderamente en un paraíso para quienes gustan de la paz, la tranquilidad o la aventura que ofrece la naturaleza; además de que tiene un pequeño puerto de altura que en épocas históricas se utilizaba para la navegación y la comercialización.
