El Turismo Rural En Cifras: Castilla-La Mancha

Abstract

Es evidente que el fuerte incremento sufrido por la demanda turística ha venido necesariamente acompañado por un aumento de la oferta de alojamientos y servicios para adecuarse a las exigencias y necesidades del mercado, ante un consumidor turístico cada vez más exigente. En esta misma línea, el interés por analizar las motivaciones turísticas ha sido abordada en diversos estudios, por ejemplo, a nivel del turista cultural (Mondéjar, Gómez y Lorenzo, 2005), identificando los siguientes factores de interés: desarrollo intelectual, vida social, nuevas sensaciones y naturaleza. Precisamente este último factor pone de manifiesto la importancia de tal motivación para un importante segmento de turistas, los encaminados al perfil “rural”.
