Abstract

El trabajo abordará el tema de los archivos personales desde la perspectiva del valor patrimonial y su relevancia para la cultura en la sociedad, por lo cual, se llevará a cabo una revisión bibliográfica en la que se analizará el concepto de patrimonio cultural, así como un análisis de lo que implican los archivos personales, además, se profundizará en los archivos personales como parte del patrimonio cultural y en cómo estos tienen una importancia para la investigación y cultura de la sociedad en general, por lo que su difusión y acceso son de vital relevancia. Este trabajo se enfocará por último en dar a conocer el panorama del Estado de Aguascalientes, a través de diferentes instituciones que salvaguardan este tipo de archivos personales como el Archivo Histórico del Estado de Aguascalientes (AHEA), el Instituto Cultural de Aguascalientes (ICA) y la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes (BUAA), que debido a su valor patrimonial han tenido resonancia en la investigación y la cultura, aunque se ha podido observar la falta de vinculación con la sociedad en general, tema en el que las instituciones ven un área de oportunidad por explorar.
