Estrategias De Afrontamiento En Adolescentes “Kichwa Kisapincha”, En Trabajo Infantil. Estudio Comparativo

Abstract

Esta investigación busca determinar cómo operan las estrategias de afrontamiento de problemas en adolescentes indígenas kichwa kisapinchas, cuyas edades oscilan entre 13 y 17 años y que se encuentran en situación de trabajo infantil, comparándolas con adolescentes que no están en condiciones de trabajo infantil. Participaron en esta investigación 20 personas. El período de indagación duró desde enero de 2019 a enero de 2021, se desarrolló en la parroquia de Kisapincha, cantón Ambato, provincia de Tungurahua-Ecuador. Metodológicamente es un estudio de corte cuantitativo, el instrumento de empleado fue la Escala de Afrontamiento para Adolescentes (ACS), del Manual de Frydenber Lewis, adaptación española 2000. Los principales hallazgos señalan, que los adolescentes que trabajan, en su mayoría optan por la estrategia de distracciones físicas; mientras, que los adolescentes que no realizan trabajo infantil prefieren la estrategia de diversiones relajantes (Dr) que se caracteriza por elementos que describen actividades de ocio. El principal resultado muestra que los adolescentes que están en condiciones de trabajo infantil desarrollaron estrategias de afrontamiento dirigidas a la resolución del problema y de afrontamiento; por lo tanto, presentan un buen nivel de bienestar psicológico, a pesar de sus condiciones socioeconómicas.
