Abstract

El trabajo muestra los resultados alcanzados por el grupo de investigación multidisciplinario especializado en TIC, sobre la planeación, diseño, desarrollo e implementación de sistemas de información para la gestión documental. Describe las generalidades, herramientas de desarrollo, características y forma de distribución del Sistema de Información para la Gestión de Archivos de Concentración (SIGA-C), hace también referencia a las instituciones donde actualmente se utiliza. Por otro lado, refiere la versión 2.0 (en desarrollo) de dicho sistema, el cual contempla cambios estructurales que le permitirán ampliar la tipología tanto de documentos, como de instituciones donde podrá ser implementado. Se trata del sistema integral para la gestión documental (SIGD), mismo que podrá ser adoptado por bibliotecas, archivos, museos y galerías. Como parte del rediseño, se destaca la amplitud y variedad de tipología documental, así como la incorporación de normas y estándares (PREMIS / OAIS / DC) y la forma de distribución del software, misma que se prevé como programa libre de código abierto.
