Perspectiva teórica sobre las competencias tecnológicas en la formación de los profesionales de la información en México

Abstract

Hoy en día, la sociedad de la información en la que vivimos, está en constante evolución tecnológica, lo que ha traído un efecto en el desarrollo económico y social a nivel global, generando que el uso de diversas herramientas y dispositivos faciliten las actividades cotidianas de las personas; sin embargo, existe una línea entre la población que sí tiene acceso a la información y la que no la tiene, y mucho menos al conocimiento que emerge de ella. El siguiente texto, se presenta con el objetivo de analizar las competencias tecnológicas que se deben desarrollar en las instituciones formadoras de los profesionales de la información. Por lo anterior, la pregunta inicial de este trabajo es ¿qué competencias tecnológicas debe desarrollar el profesional de la información en México?
