Accesibilidad universal en la UASLP-UAMZH

Abstract

El presente documento es el resultado del trabajo de investigación en curso que se realiza en la materia de Accesibilidad y Diseño Universal, del Programa de estudios de la Licenciatura en Arquitectura de la Unidad Académica Multidisciplinaria Zona Huasteca de la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí; UAMZH-UASLP. Esta actividad se desarrolla con el apoyo de los alumnos del grupo único de octavo semestre, generación 2012 – 2019, dirigida por el asesor y tutor del grupo, cuyo propósito principal es involucrar e incentivar a los jóvenes en el área de la investigación, además de evaluar las instalaciones de su campus con la intención de que los participantes valoren los resultados de la investigación con sentido de pertenencia sin perder el sentido crítico y objetivo, además de adoptar de mejor forma los conocimientos adquiridos y alineados al programa de la materia. Este documento responde a preguntas como; ¿la infraestructura actual del campus es accesible para personas en situación de discapacidad?, ¿cómo evaluar los inmuebles y espacios arquitectónicos y urbanos para conocer el grado de accesibilidad que ofrecen?; para resolver estas preguntas es importante definir la estructura de la metodología básica para la valoración de espacios e inmuebles, información que se transmite al alumno en el transcurso del periodo escolar.
